The Welfare System

The Welfare system is a system which gives financial support to the people who are needed for an appropriate reason.The Department of work and pension (DWP) is a source which is helping people and it is a government organization. This organization helps the peoples who are retaired, disable, and the people who are doing efforts for searching job etc.

The official age of retirement in the UK for men is increased from 65 to 68 and age of women is increased from 60 to 66 but this is eligable for those womens who are born before 1950. One another law is already applied from 11 April 2011 is that majority of working age benifits is increased 3.1 percent with this law pension is increased as well. In the UK here are so many facilities for job seeker which is known as job seeker allowances. The DWP supports the person who is job less and finding for job. Person should have to be 18 or over for getting job  seeker allowances but in some special cases government can give this benefit to 16 and 17 years old person.The DWP also support the pregnant working women from maternity benefits. This is eligable for the person who are employed, but not eligible for Statutory Maternity Pay registered self-employed and paying Class 2 National Insurance contributions (NICs), or hold a Small Earnings Exception certificate. This DWP is supporting through money for the childrens as well. It gives 20.30 pounds for the eldest and rest of the child it assests 13.40 pound.

DWP is a responsible organistion which is helpful for the people and supports people in queries as well.

Media-Tv

Media is essential for life to get news and to overview lifestyle of the world. Media is not only the thing which gives the news rather it is the thing which gives the knowledge.
 Media use so many things to give knowledge. media is a thing which is important to get knowledge and their are so many ways to get it. Tv is a wonderful resource to get it. Cable tv has chennels which gives the knowledge. In Britain their are two saperates types of channels one is news channels and other one is for soap likewise in Pakistan. Pakistan also has two types of channels. They are not allowed to show soaps on the news channel. In Britain news channels have writes to make the people known about each and everything but in Pakistan they don't have rights to do like this. In Britain here are so many channels and the world most channel BBC is also a British channel which conveys ethentic and clear news which makes the great impact on the people mind thats why this channel is so popular. In Britain there are few soaps which are from shown on different channels from last so many years like EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale. In Pakistan their are total length of soap is maximum 50 episodes. They dont ever have any soap which exceed this length.
Media is a factor which makes the people known about environment that which is going at the time.

Visit to the Senedd

The Senedd is a most important place for Wales. We visited to the Senedd with our class mates which is organised by our university. It is so superb to visit over there and we all feel good and discovers the beauties of the building. The Senedd building opened in the first of March in 2006 This It is situated in Cardiff and the name of town is Cardiff bay. Actually it is a national assembly, this is a place where all the ministers are meet with each other. In this assembly the no. of ministers are 60. Visitors can see a wonderful view through the Senedd. This Sanedd contains 3 floors underground, mazzinine and 1st floor. Building is made up of very important and special materials some are bought from the other parts of the world and some are the made of UK. Everything is clear and fine in Sanedd nothing is hide, every decision is made infront of the people. There are many cameras in the Sanedd which is focusing all the ministers and LCD are available there for people who wanted to listen the issues which are discussed in Sanedd. In LCD there are many options the main important option is translater. If some one speaks in Welsh then tranlater can converted it into English. Through this option everyone can heard the issues.

Advantages and disagvantages of EU.

Firstly, About Advantages . The most considerable advantag is high reduction of war probablilty. All European countries entering the E.U. are bound to restrictions that are favorable to their economy and development. A European currency that reduces monetary instability. Europeans can move around freely within the European Union and therefore seek for jobs in other countries due to this they would not remain a jobless.
Now about disadvantages. Reduction of soverinety when European Institutions ask countries to give some of their souvereign powers to the E.U. which doesn't always benefit to every country.

St. David and St. Valantine

Priest Valentine was a Saint in Rome. Valantine's day is a shortened word of Saint Valantine's day. It is celebrating on 14 february, In it people intimate love ones that they love. In this traditional day people express someone by giving flowers or by giving chocholates or by giving red cards. This day is celebrated in many countries of the world.

Saint David was a priest in Wales. This day is celebrated on 1 march. This day is celebrated on the death of Saint David's. 1 march was declared as a national day of Wales in the 18th century. This day is celebrated all around the Wales.

About British Government

Cabinet is a group or organization which is made by the government which makes the decisions for government. It has 20 members and they organize once meeting in a week. In British, local government is responsible for the cleaning and all the things which is related to the tidiness. In British prime minister has much more power than the British Queen.

David Cameron is a Prime Minister of UK. He became a prime minister on 6 may 2010 by the resignation of Gorden Brown. He was born on 9 october 1966 and he is a youngest Prime Minister of UK. He was graduated from the university of oxford in 1988 with the good marks of honour degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. David Cameron joined conservative party on 1988 and then after few years he became leader of the Conservative party by beating David Davis with many votes. He married in 1996 in Sheffield and he has a three childens and his elder child is died in 2009.
