The Houses of Parliament

The houses of parliament in UK is two,  House of Common and House of Lord. The house of common has more power as compare to the house of lord because house of common has a members who are directly elected and government is dependent upon the MP's of this house. Government is not dependent upon the member of the house of lord.  In UK there are 659 constituencies, as 529 are in England, 72 are in Scotland, 40 are in Wales and 17 are in Northern Ireland. Party which has the most MP's can forms the government after election. In UK election are take places by system of "first past the post" means the person who gets the most votes win the election.
Parliament is a place where MP's are satteled down and discussed on the problems. The first women MP in UK is Viscountess Nancy she was born in Virginia and then she moved to England. She was the member of conservative party .

  1. I like your illustrations. Just check through again for grammar errors and look in particular at the phrases House of Commons and House of Lords. They should be capitalized, and Commons and Lords are always plural.
